A coffin transport van from a coffin transport company in Australia has been hijacked and stolen in a crime that has shocked the nation.
The company’s van was stolen from its storage depot in the ACT’s north-west at about 8am local time on Monday.
A security guard who arrived on the scene said the van had been broken into.
Police believe the group who stole the vehicle had stolen the keys.
The driver and passenger are believed to be Australian and New Zealand nationals.
The theft is the latest in a series of recent vehicle thefts, and has shocked people across the country.
The incident happened just over two weeks after the coffin transportation company in Melbourne’s north was robbed and taken from a storage depot.
